Step 1: Melt the wax in a double boiler over low heat (be careful not to overheat the wax). Watching the wax as it melts is the perfect time to be fully present.

Step 2: Glue the wick to the center of the cup (you can also dip the bottom of the wick in melted wax and use it as glue) and use wooden chopsticks to hold the wick in place.

Step 3 and 4: After letting the wax cool for about 15-20 minutes, until the wax becomes cloudy a little, pour the wax into the cup.

Step 5: Leave to cool for 48 hours before lighting the candle.

Step 6: Trim wick as needed.
